Goan Musical Society - Jam Session

Dear Alfred & Anita,

YOUNG MUSICIANS JAM SESSION

Many thanks for the invitation to attend the Goan Musical Society JAM SESSION held on Sunday 16th September 2007.

I am so pleased I made this great event and was thrilled to see all the young musicians of all ages perform so professionally. The standard of their performances was exceptional and above all, each player performed with full confidence like real professionals and if I were to be a judge to select the best players, I would find it very difficult.

Your son impressed me the most seeing what an accomplished sax player he is. He also conducted the show very well making sure everyone had the opportunity to perform. Your sound engineer Chico also did a good job with the sound quality.

I wish to congratulate you and your team members for producing such a great event encouraging the young musicians. Convey my CONGRATULATIONS to all the players.

P.S. The gentleman who sang at the end was also a great singer with a good powerful voice.

Attached are some photographs I took whilst greatly enjoying the show. I only wish I had a Video camera instead.

I will not fail to encourage my 7 grandchildren to learn an instrument of their choice.

Best regards Benny de Souza.

=======================================

Dear musicians, singers, helpers and supporters

Hope this finds you well since yesterday's enjoyable Jam Session.

Just to THANK YOU yet again for all your efforts and for sharing your talents. Each of the "L-plate" musicians as well as the experienced ones were spectacular and the small audience was most appreciative.

We are particularly grateful to Francis Po for the loan of his keyboard, amplification and technical expertise, to the GOA UK and to each and every individual or family who contributed in some way with support, expertise and help.

Benny (many thanks) has promised to share the photos he took, so watch this space!

The feedback has been very positive. We are looking to go forward in a different format which could be more ambitious and exciting.

Best wishes always.

Anita Alfred
